OUR CHRISTMAS GATHERING IN CHELTENHAM is being held on Saturday 29th November 2025.

A DAY OF HOPE AND CONNECTION

Welcoming widows and surviving partners at any stage of their grief journey

Christmas can be extremely challenging

It can be an emotionally charged time for those of us who have lost a loved one. As people everywhere gather and celebrate with loved ones, the holiday cheer can feel overwhelming, as can the pressure to mask our pain. In fact, our grief can feel invisible.

My Christmas gathering will provide you with a safe space to connect and share with others on the same journey and nurture yourself through a difficult time of year. I hope that you will leave feeling replenished, ready to face the festive season and prepared to step into the new year with a renewed sense of optimism.

The Christmas gathering will be held in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on Saturday 29th November 2025. Please see below the details for the itinerary for the 2024 gathering to give you an idea. 2025 itinery and ticket release details are to follow.

The day will include:

  • Arrival tea and coffee with pastries

  • Mid morning tea and coffee with biscuits

  • Buffet lunch

  • Mid afternoon tea and coffee with cake

A full itinerary of the day’s activities will be released in due course, and I can promise you it will be a day of hope, healing and connection.

To secure your spot, this wonderful day event is £147 only! (2025 pricing is to be confirmed)

If you’d like to join us for the festive evening meal on the Saturday, to be held in the same hotel, there will be an additional cost (to be confirmed)

This includes a three-course festive meal

  • DJ and Disco

  • Christmas Novelties

  • Use of private function bar.

Drinks would need to be paid for separately on the night.

We will have our own table where we will dine together but there will be other groups dining together too in the same room.

There is a bar in reception if after we’ve eaten you want somewhere quieter to go and chat.

The evening meal is a wonderful way to relax, let your hair down a little and release some of the heaviness of the grief. Having fun, and connecting with others who get it in a light hearted way, is so healing to us and the evening meal brings the day together beautifully.

However, this is completely optional and if you feel that the day itself will be enough for you then that is absolutely okay too.

What can you expect from our Christmas Gathering?

For those of us who have lost a loved one, Christmas and New Year can trigger a lot of painful memories and emotions along with an overwhelming desire to just shut ourselves away from everything and everyone.

However, when people with shared experiences and needs come together something incredible happens. We feel seen, heard and understood. We discover a new sense of belonging and we leave with more love and hope in our hearts.

My Christmas gathering will give you the opportunity to surround yourself with people who get it.

To connect and share with others who’ve been through or are going through exactly what you’re experiencing.

You’ll also be given the time and space to reflect on your own personal grief journey, release emotion and focus on your healing. You’ll learn how to reconnect to yourself, create a much deeper understanding of your needs and equip yourself with some helpful tools to make it through the festive season.
